This 1973 catalog ad from Eaton's is my purple bathroom dream come true. A purple toilet seat? A purple bathroom scale?!? This woman is clearly living the life of luxury with all these hot commodities. I wish I could find out who designed these wonderful pieces and have them decorate my bathroom.This is also what I picture Prince's bathroom to look like, but probably in a more royal purple shade. And maybe velvet bath curtains instead.
A google search has just revealed that Eaton's was once Canada's largest department store retailer but sadly went bankrupt in 1999. I suppose I will have to color coordinate at a different department store.
