New Apartment

Me and Barron will be moving to Brighton on June 1st. Here are some pictures I yanked off Craigslist of our new apartment. Enjoy!

A Guest Blog from Brian!

Here is a posting from Brian. I took the liberty of picking out a picture for him. He originally posted this in the comments but I will give him his own posts. Enjoy!
Guest Blog, Part One:An old man and a young man work together in an office. The old man always has a jar of peanuts on his desk, and the young man really loves peanuts. One day, while the old man is away from his desk, the young man yields to temptation and scarfs down over half of the contents of the jar.
When the old man returns, the young man feels guilty and confesses to his crime. "Don''t worry, son. I never eat the peanuts anyway," the old man replies. "Since I lost my teeth, all I can do is gum chocolate off the M&M's."

Purgatory Chasm - An Adventure with Jenn!

Yesterday, me and Jenn both had the day off so we decided to go exploring! The state parks department website leaves much to be desired in terms of directions, but the fact that me and Jenn get lost everywhere we go anyways doesn't help.

We went to a little path in Uxbridge first, above is a picture of the River Bend Farm or something like that. I wouldn't call it a hike so much as a nice walk along the river featuring turtles, fish, and bugs. The fact that it was not a hike was confirmed by the bus filled with grandmas that showed up as we were leaving.
Then we drove to Sutton for a nice trip to Purgatory Chasm. I don't know what I was expecting, but this place actually turned out to be pretty cool! It is this big hole that was formed by glaciers (or an earthquake or something) and you follow the path and climb all this stuff.
There were so many kids there that it almost wasn't cool but that is only because I was expecting one of them to fall and crack a head open. You can see in this picture you can get pretty high up.
There is also this neat cave called the Devil's Coffin that me and Jenn both agreed would be a good place to hotbox if given the chance. I saw people climbing into other caves but this was the only one marked with a sign so it is the only one I attempted to get into.

This is the Devil's Buttcrack or something like that. You can stand up top and look down or you can try and squeeze in but I would not fit nor could you pay me to try. All in all, a fun day. We tried to buy Barron some crystals from a crazy lady but all she was selling was bugs and capes in her store. Also me and Jenn are both so broke that we didn't have enough money for the ice cream man (which my mom informed me was pathetic).
Cheers to more happy climbs!

Please God Make this a real show!

TNR's picture selection

I don't know why everyone is so upset about the picture TNR used for Hillary on this recent cover. I mean, it is not like they chose to use her official Senate picture:
Or this one:

Or even this one:

Nope, not even this one:
This one would have been okay probably:
Or any of these?

Point is, I think that is what a lot of people think of when they think of her. That or her shrilly voice, which you can't really get onto a magazine cover all of that easily. Maybe just one of those cards that you open up and it screams "surprise!" Yea her voice would be good for one of those.

Penguin Booty

I thought for a nice afternoon treat you might like this picture of a penguin wearing booties. I hope it is not because his little feet are hurt!

A Recap

If you were not included in the morph session and you would like to be, please let me know. Or if you have someone you would like to see morphed let me know! I have had enough morphing for the day so maybe later.

I made a whole bunch of posts about the same thing, but they probably make more sense to read in order, so here they are in the correct order:

1. Introduction to myheritage

2. Barron's Morph

3. Barron's lookalikes

4. Beth's Morph

5. Beth's lookalikes

6. April's morph

7. April's lookalikes

8. A surprising twist!

9. Helen Hunt haunts my dreams

10. Jenn's morph

11. Jenn's lookalikes

Jenn's picks

Notice #3 is Thomas Edison. That is only two behind Gisele in the heritage tree.

A Morph for Jenn

First of all, I had to try 4 pictures before the system would even recognize Jenn as a person in the picture. As in, if there was another person in the pic it would identify that face and not hers. Which confirms to me that she may be undead or a zombie. So I took this fancy picture of her from Marathon Monday by herself, and it made her into Gisele! Very impressive Jenn!

Helen Hunt revisited

The funniest part about Helen Hunt showing up as my #1 is the other people that came up on here. How could you guys have never told me that I look like Ruben Studdard?

What the heck!

How could this site have possibly picked up on this! I guess I am just destined to forever have Helen Hunt as my celeb lookalike. At least they picked out a pretty good picture of her. Hopefully noone will start telling Barron he looks like Paul Reiser because I don't think he would like that very much.

April's matches

These were the actors I could have morphed April into if I was nice and didn't make her into Gary Busey. It is an interesting group of people that I have never heard of.

Also I forgot to mention one of the funniest baby pictures I have ever seen when I was looking for a picture of April. Your sister had the roundest head! Also, I love mom attempts at toddler hair.

Poor April

Celebritymorph really didn't like pictures of April. I used her facebook picture and it said "no matches." So then I stole one off of her facebook, and they said she looks like Gary Busey. Granted that wasn't the most similar, but obviously I had to pick the worst one for everyone.

Beth's Celeb lookalikes

Here are what the options really were for Beth. The site surprisingly recognized more girls than guys for Beth, despite the fact that I am mean and made her look like Jason Biggs. Perhaps you could try out for a cameo in "American Pie 4 - The Lost Twin."

Barron's Lookalikes

These are the people it would let me morph Barron into. I guess I could have chosen Hal Sparks but I thought he would like Einstein better. I don't so much feel bad that this program thought Barron resembled these girls as much as I feel bad that the program thinks they look like a guy. Maybe it thought his hat was blonde hair?

Barron into Einstein

When the program scanned Barron's face, about 4 girls came up along with guys. I was nice though and picked a guy for him to morph into. See below:

Celebrity Morph by MyHeritage

I have found a fun new game that I plan on playing with all day. It is a program where you put in your picture and it decides what celebrities you look like and then you can pick to morph into one. Somehow this thing decided I look like Zombie Oprah from 1980.

Baby ducks

If you love baby ducks, and I know you probably do, you should definitely check out this video: BABY DUCKS!

You will not want to miss this climactic ending. My favorite part is when they dump the baby ducks back in the water!

This is my favorite thing for today. If you should find yourself near the Charles mid-June, keep your eyes out for some real life baby ducks! So cute. I want to steal them and then when they get big and ugly put them back.

For the Archives

Even though no one but me and April is going to know what these pictures are of, I am posting them so they can forever be preserved on the internet. These are pictures we drew of Gene Weingarten keeping warm in his bed with his dog and parrot. We are not sure how the parrot was in the bed, hence the drawing contest. Please feel free to guess who drew what!

Babymama

The website for the new movie Baby Mama has a place where you can put in a picture of you and your loved one and make a baby. This is me and Barron's baby. The website named our baby Romeo.gChat:

Barron: NOT FUNNY!

me: why not?

Barron: because our baby will be beautiful

me: what is wrong with that baby?

Barron: It has a blurry gotee!

Two nights of Bisco

Another successful weekend of TDB. We sent this picture to Beth from Barron's cell phone, but I am not sure if she got it so here is a repost. Frog was asking for you and screaming your name as he made sweet love to the purple glow stick we named "Beth."

Happy Birthday Jenn!

I just want to start by expressing my love for google image search. Where else would I find a gem like this in a sea of the Internet?
Unforch, Jenn is not turning four, but 24, and her name is not Rayne. So here are some more appropriate pictures to wish Jenn a happy birthday! If I were you, I would have a beer every hour for 24-hours to celebrate your very amazing birth.

Jenn's parents and sister came to Massachusetts to surprise her! Ryan is very good at keeping secrets I must say. What makes me laugh about this is that Jenn went bowling with her fam and saw one of her students there. This is the second incident I have seen where Jenn goes bowling and sees someone she knows who is not over the age of 12.

Happy happy happy birthday Jenn! Much love, Shannon

Fart Museum

Me and April are opening a fart museum and I am looking for names for the museum. Here are some of the exhibits that are going to be featured:
- "Farts of the world" with all the words for fart in other languages
- "The science behind gas"
- "Farts in pop culture"
- "The evolution of farts"

More to come.

Fish

It must be Fretalian

If you know me, you may be aware of a small Dunkin Donuts obsession I have (or had?). I guess it is more had because I stopped drinking coffee every day. But for a period of oh, three to four years, Dunkin Donuts was a staple in my life, to the point where caffiene withdrawal was present and leaving Massachusetts meant a panic attack of where I was going to find this delicious coffee.

Anyway, some of you guys may recognize the sign pictured above at the corner of Market and North Beacon Street in Brighton. It was a huge sign, so I don't know how you could have missed it. I kind of liked it because of its old time-y appeal despite is somewhat ugly nature. This sign has been removed despite its historic nature. I will miss you, large Dunkin Donuts sign and will think of you each time I look at this hole where you used to be. RIP!

Doctors for Beth

Beth is a super amazing person and can run 10-miles non-stop which is absolutely incredible to me! Unfortunately, this has resulted in a stress-fracture of disappointing proportions. Here are two doctors I have recommended to her, Dr. Frankenstein, and Dr. Frankenfurter.
