Purgatory Chasm - An Adventure with Jenn!

Yesterday, me and Jenn both had the day off so we decided to go exploring! The state parks department website leaves much to be desired in terms of directions, but the fact that me and Jenn get lost everywhere we go anyways doesn't help.

We went to a little path in Uxbridge first, above is a picture of the River Bend Farm or something like that. I wouldn't call it a hike so much as a nice walk along the river featuring turtles, fish, and bugs. The fact that it was not a hike was confirmed by the bus filled with grandmas that showed up as we were leaving.
Then we drove to Sutton for a nice trip to Purgatory Chasm. I don't know what I was expecting, but this place actually turned out to be pretty cool! It is this big hole that was formed by glaciers (or an earthquake or something) and you follow the path and climb all this stuff.
There were so many kids there that it almost wasn't cool but that is only because I was expecting one of them to fall and crack a head open. You can see in this picture you can get pretty high up.
There is also this neat cave called the Devil's Coffin that me and Jenn both agreed would be a good place to hotbox if given the chance. I saw people climbing into other caves but this was the only one marked with a sign so it is the only one I attempted to get into.

This is the Devil's Buttcrack or something like that. You can stand up top and look down or you can try and squeeze in but I would not fit nor could you pay me to try. All in all, a fun day. We tried to buy Barron some crystals from a crazy lady but all she was selling was bugs and capes in her store. Also me and Jenn are both so broke that we didn't have enough money for the ice cream man (which my mom informed me was pathetic).
Cheers to more happy climbs!
